Water is a renewable resource because the amounts of water throughout the world neither increase or decrease. Although there are massive amounts of water being consumed by the human population, it is constantly being renewed thru the process of the water cycle. As long as the freshwater in Florida that is being consumed is used appropriately and not wasted, the fresh water should be categorized as a renewable resource.
Because Florida is a peninsula and is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean on three sides, there is plenty of sand to create beaches. The sand, although takes many years to create by the process of erosion is used a lot less and is mainly used to maintain the structure of beaches to prevent water from going inland. For this reason, sand is abundant and will be renewable because by the time it takes to create sand there will still be sufficient sand until after humans cease to exist.
Florida has many trees-- and they are used for many materials such as furniture, paper and pencils. Paper is recyclable and can be transformed into many other useful materials for humans. Although, if humans are not careful, they can eliminate trees entirely. There must be less consumption of trees in order maintain this resource as renewable.
The state of Florida is also graced with a lot of sunlight-- this is a renewable resource because there is always the guarantee that the sun will rise the next day as long a catastrophic event does not occur. Sunlight is the key to all life on Earth and has a relationship with all living things. Humans are now using solar powered energy to fuel their homes and cars.
